Details:
The Local Group will be at the Placerita Canyon Nature Center's annual Open House. We will be showing off our nearest star using specially designed telescopes to look at the sun safely. Hopefully we will see some sunspots and coronal flares. Always a spectacular view.

The Placerita Canyon Nature Center is located off Placerita Canyon Rd. east of the 14 freeway. We used to hold our meetings there. We still participate in their annual open house. |
