Join us for another of the great COC star parties! As you may know the COC Star Party is a free community event with hands on-demonstrations, information tables, telescope viewing, and expert presenters. This year’s theme will be “Pathways to Space” with guest presenter Jessica Ta, a College of the Canyons alumni, currently working with SpaceX.

The Local Group will be there with plenty of telescopes for your viewing pleasure. Saturn should still be visible until 9pm along with a bright first-quarter moon. Uranus and Neptune may be visible in some of the scopes as well as the usual star clusters, nebulae and possibly a galaxy or two depending upon how clear it is.
