The Great American Campout takes place at Central Park in Santa Clarita. This is a public, reservation-only event put on by the City of Santa Clarita. Tickets can be purchased at:

The Local Group will be there to provide telescopes for night-time stargazing. We will have a gibbous (mostly full) moon along with planets Jupiter, Venus and maybe Saturn as well as other deep sky objects (weather and moonglow permitting).
