Details:

A nice transit of Mercury across the face of the sun early in the morning. We'll be in the Centerpoint Shopping Center parking lot up near Dick's Sporting Goods and Walmart.

This transit will have already started by the time the sun rises here in Santa Clarita. Transit starts at 4:35 AM but local sunrise is around 6:30. The transit lasts until around 10am. It's really tiny so we will have our special Solar telescopes set up so you can see it safely. Not sure you will be able to see it easily with solar glasses.

NEVER look at the sun with your eyes or telescopes/binoculars unless they have proper solar filters attached. You will be blinded.
