7:00 PM    Presentation: "Women in Science" presented by Dr. Teresa Ciardi 

For this month's club program, Dr. Teresa Ciardi, professor in Astronomy and Physical Sciences at the College of the Canyons, will present an interesting presentation about the efforts and accomplishments of women in the scientific fields entitled "Women in STEM"Is it really different for women?.

Teresa Ciardi will share her experiences as a woman in STEM, from college days to now. She will also share observations and student stories. Teresa will talk about imposter syndrome, specifically the external and internal factors that contribute to imposter syndrome. Ms. Ciardi will share how YOU can be an advocate for all who desire to pursue STEM.
