Join us for the Fall Astronomy Day on October 20th from 1:00pm until 11:00pm at the main branch of the Santa Clarita Library (located next to the Sheriff station). This is a big event for us. We will have solar viewing during the day, "Build Your Own Telescope" for the kids, night viewing that evening and a special presentation by our very own Richard Wade! Richard will be giving his outstanding presentation "How Big is Big, How Far is Far." You don't want to miss this! Flyers and schedules will be available soon.

CLUB MEMBERS: This is a big event for us. We really need all hands on deck. Please, if you can come out and help we can really use it. Please contact me (Dave Flynn) if you can help out. I will be presenting the telescope kit activity and need at least 6 volunteers to manage traffic control and help with kit building. This is a very popular activity.
